Laurels Day Nurseries

Park Road Nursery
Pre-school nursery provision
A pre-school nursery for children from 2 1/2 to 5 years of age. Based in the Old Church Rooms in the centre of Radyr. Park Road Nursery is a member of the Wales Pre-School Providers Association and is Quality Assured.
The nursery provides a play-based learning environment that follows the Areas of Learning in the Foundation Phase.

Radyr Comprehensive School is situated at the southern end of Heol Isaf, Radyr and was built in the 1970s. Its catchment area includes Radyr and Morganstown and surrounding communities. It caters for children from 11-18 years. On the school site there is also a swimming pool.

Radyr Latchkey After School Club
After School Club
The aim of Radyr Latchkey Club is to provide quality and accessible childcare before and after school for children attending Radyr Primary School at our Club site, The Scout Hall, Heol Isaf, Radyr, Cardiff CF15 8DF. Breakfast Club is open from 7.30 A.M. and after-school club finishes at 6 P.M. The registered person Barbara Koch and staff are committed to meet the social, physical, intellectual, creative and emotional needs of each child attending. Activities are child-centred and are planned weekly including opportunities for free play to take place. Children’s ideas are encouraged and taken into account when planning.

Radyr Primary School has served the children of Radyr and Morganstown since 1896. In 1968, new classroom wings were added on to the original Victorian building as the villages continued to grow. The school currently has 12 classes and approximately 305 pupils on roll.
