See the attached as to why the bales are looking so sad.

It certainly is a very sad situation. It would be good to know who the Earl of Plymouth really is and what his reasons are for selling all this land – apart from making wads of cash.

    Well, that’s the last straw.

A sad end to another farm.

I read some years ago the only surviving relative was an elderly lady…. I suppose someone must be administering the Estate.

The Fourth Earl of Plymouth is very much alive after the passing of his father earlier this year – https://www.coark.com/news/obituary-other-robert-ivor-windsor-clive-3rd-earl-of-plymouth/

Here are a list of his directorships
    https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/officers/aaagY5-zrubWTEbsihQY1A50yq4/appointments

One of them – Nabatean Limited – owns the land in Danescourt where they are trying, again, to build 40 houses.

It is interesting reading the accounts report for Earl of Plymouth Estates Ltd that the company sold some land in August 2017 for £5 Million. Doesn’t say what land, but could well be part of the Plasdwr battlefield. The company then paid a dividend of £3.5 Million to its owners!!

Looks like money talks and no room for sentiment or loyalty to their tenants.

A baleful field of troubled trenches, probably.

There is a tale to be found and told about the Earls of Plymouth, if someone at Wales Online would like to collaborate with the Guardian, on it.

In winter trenches, cowed and glum,
With crumps and lice and lack of rum,
He put a bullet through his brain.
No one spoke of him again.
