Cardiff Corinthians Football Club
The Cardiff Corinthians Football Club (Corries) play at the Riverside Football Ground in Radyr (Close to the Cricket Ground) and are in Division 3 of the Welsh League. They were founded in 1898 and have played at Radyr since 1974. They have won the Welsh Amateur Cup 5 times in 7 finals.

Probus Club of Cardiff West
Our members are of a professional or business background who are enjoying being semi-retired or retired.
Once a month members meet again to enjoy themselves – usually on the first Thursday of the month at the Radyr Golf Club.
- At the start there’s coffee or tea and a get together to chat with one another and catch up with what is going on. Lunch can be booked and paid for too.
- Then, comes news announcements to keep members up-to-date.
- Next, there’s usually an interesting speaker giving an illustrated talk (the subjects can vary widely).
- Afterwards, a Q&A session – with usually the speaker answering, and often the audience answering too.
- At around midday, next comes another leisurely get together and chat session.

Radyr Cricket Club
Radyr Cricket Club was founded as long ago as 1890. The Club maintains two excellent cricket fields immediately adjacent to one another and runs six senior sides in the summer plus a Women’s XI which plays in the South West League. The club also caters for the youngsters of the community at all age groups including an extensive junior girls section. It operates out of the Riverside Ground during the months of May, June, July and August.

- Under 9s – Friday Under 7s and 11s – Tuesday
- Under 13s – Thursday Under 15s – Monday
- Seniors – Wednesday

The Radyr Drama Society was formed in 1982 by a group of enthusiasts living locally in Radyr and Morganstown. It performed its first play: All in Good Time by Bill Naughton, in May the following year. The group thrives entirely on the good will, hard work and support of its members, helpers and audiences.

Mondays 10:00 – 12:00.
This is a very informal, no examination, low stress keyboard group! What ever your level, you decide what you want to play and the progress you want to make. Our expert tutor is there to make suggestions and provide encouragement. We are a happy, friendly group and would welcome new members. Bring your own electronic keyboard and headphones.

St John Ambulance
St John Cymru Wales – Radyr Division

When: Every Tuesday night, 19:00 – 21:00If you’ve attended an event in Wales you’re sure to have seen our members at work. From rugby matches, to motocross events, to village fetes, we provide First Aid for the people who need it.
Volunteer with St John Cymru-Wales and you could help save a life. By giving your time, together we can achieve our goal of providing a first aider on every street and ensure more people have the right knowledge to act in an emergency. Volunteering is a great way of trying something new and bringing your skills and experience to an organisation in need. We don’t just offer opportunities for members of the public to undertake first aid training and assist at events, we have a variety of roles, from a HR officer to a youth leader. Whether you are retired, on sabbatical, or can only spare a few hours between work, any support is appreciated.
If you’re interested in helping people and learning basic first aid skills, meeting new people or helping your community (and having some fun along the way!), then come and volunteer with St John.

The twinning fellowship was formed to promote friendly relations between Radyr & Morganstown and the French town of St Philbert de Grand Lieu. Membership is open to any person, family or group, living or working in the villages interested in the objectives of bringing the two communities closer together in the area of culture, sport and education.
