We’ve taken down the Christmas trees in Radyr and Morganstown today. Thanks to everybody involved :- )

We have left some lights in the corner of Windsor Gardens to make the path a little easier to use until the evenings become a bit lighter. Next year we hope to put them up again when the clocks go back in October.

And you are right, there should be a roof on the y in ty… but can’t work out how to do that..

A Happy New Year to you, Helen, and to all on the forum!

As for the ‘roof’ or (technically) circumflex, on Welsh vowels, the easiest way is perhaps to look for an example on the web, and copy it into your text.

The modern tendancy with accents, or diacritical marks, in general, is to leave them out, especially when posting on social media. It’s a question of ‘can I be fussed’!
