    Morning,

My daughter has been allocated Gwaelod welsh unit as her school but we know very little about it. Do any of your children go there? What are the breakfast club and after school club like etc? Any information would be gratefully received.

    Thanks!

Hi, my daughter goes there and I cannot praise it highly enough. It is a lovely school and the teachers are excellent. There are quite a few children from Radyr and Morganstown there. I speak Welsh but my husband doesn’t and he has always praised how he feels they are very good at communicating information bilingually as well as at parent events like plays. The headmistress is fantastic. There are breakfast clubs daily (free) starting 8:15 and after school clubs (I think until 5:30). There is a lot of information on the website (leaflets on reception/derbyn and nursery/meithryn). I hope that helps.
