Remembrance Parade 2015

The Remembrance Parade was attended by many local groups. Wreaths were laid by the Lord Lieutenant, Colonel Kevin Davies, representing the Queen, the Chair of the Community Council representing the community and many other local groups. There were many youngsters at the event including representatives of all 3 local schools, the scouts, guides, cubs, beavers and rainbows.
After a short service at the War Memorial an inter-denominational service was held in Christchurch followed by a march past at the war memorial where the salute was taken by the Lord Lieutenant.
