Why should I register?

Why should I register?

To use the Forum or the Events Diary for the first time you must register on the site. After that you never need to register again. You just click ‘Sign in’, enter your password, and you’re ready to go.

As a registered user you can even arrange to receive an email when a new item is added to the News column, or to follow a Forum thread which interests you.

How do I register?

You can click here to start the simple registration.

Once you have filled in your details and clicked Register, an automated message will be sent to your chosen email address. To prevent fraud you have to respond to this. It’s a one-click process.

If I have a problem with this, what can I do?

If you forget your username or password, you can retrieve it from the Login panel.

If you have any problem with registration, or in using the site once you have registered, send a message to web-team@radyr.org.uk and we will sort things out. We value your feedback on this site, so please do tell us if you have any suggestions for improvement.

Will I get any spam or unsolicited messages if I register?

No – you won’t. Only the administrators of the site can see the email addresses which have been registered.

What can I do now that I’ve registered?

1. You can enter Diary events and take part in the Forum. Entries can only be amended or deleted by the person who originally put them there, or by one of the administration team.

2. You can ‘follow’ a thread on the Forum or the appearance of new items in the News column by requesting an email alert.

3. You can use the ‘private messaging‘ system on the Forum to communicate directly with someone who has contributed. Only this person can read your message, and your identity is not disclosed to the recipient.

Anything else?

Only the site administrators can amend the News or the Noticeboard. Items for these columns, together with any relevant pictures, should be submitted by email.
