NW Bank Closure

We have been formally notified that the Station Road Branch of NatWest is to close on the 31st July 2014. This is despite the bank’s promise ” We never close the last branch in town”.
The service was reduced from a full time bank to a part time bank last year. At that time the village set up a petition and letters were written to senior executives to no avail. Letters of complaint should be sent to the Local Chief Executive Officer – Ms Rhian Head at Llandaff branch. We are informed that an arrangement is being made with the local post office ! What happened to our Community banking system.
Mr H. Jones, Regional Manager of NatWest appeared at one of our PACT meeting in 2012 to re-assure residents that “the Radyr branch would never close”.
